So, You Want a Drone? In Chronological Order

Image
Well, it's June 1st, 2025, and I'm officially in drone limbo. What started as an exciting new purchase has quickly devolved into a waiting game, a crash course (pun intended) in drone repair logistics, and a good dose of self-inflicted frustration. It all began on Monday, May 12th , when $1,754.90 vanished from my bank account, destined for DJI. I was buzzing with anticipation. Looking back, it felt like an eternity for the drone to arrive, even though it was only a week. And frankly, my patience was tested by the shipping process. Three different packages, three different tracking numbers, all originating from Hong Kong and Penang. Seriously, DJI, a little stockpile of finished goods in a more central location would be a game-changer! Finally, on Monday, May 19th , all three packages landed. The remote controller and battery charging station arrived first, and FedEx, bless their hearts, decided the ditch behind my mailbox was the perfect delivery spot. The actual drone, howev...

Beyond the Screen: How to Replicate Real-Life Connection to Skyrocket Your Analytics

Hey creators, dreamers, and aspiring online powerhouses! You're pouring your heart into your craft, chasing those elusive analytics, and wondering how to truly stand out. We talk a lot about "engagement" in the digital world, but sometimes it feels, well, a bit flat. You might even wonder if all this online "friendliness" is just a performance – a calculated move for views, much like someone being friendly in real life just to get a job. It's a fair question. The pursuit of external validation, whether in person or online, can certainly feel transactional. But what if we told you that the most powerful way to boost your online presence isn't just about playing the algorithm, but about recreating the magic of a genuine, one-on-one human connection, right there through your screen? Imagine bumping into a loyal reader or fellow artist at a coffee shop. The spark of recognition, the genuine smile, the shared passion, the in-depth conversation that leaves you...

Live Today 5/12/25 11:00am central

https://www.youtube.com/@BumpcHump69   finding value in places besides a 9-5 If I went to work today by the end of 10 hours, I would have made 150 before taxes, that means that by skipping today I need to make that back plus whatever it cost to be reprimanded tomorrow. I'm thinking double. I don't know if that means I need to go door dashing or sell everything and make a risky trade. hopefully I can spend time like yesterday creating something funny from this writing but that was on a scheduled off day I just took this one for me and now I'm stressing over it. The guys at work just got back or are about to go back in from first break. I could still go today, or I could complete the challenge given to myself. sell something priced to move. create that fishing thumbnail or a few different ones, make some that don't even make sense like salt water digitally imposed fish and then go fishing the Mississippi river.  Core Goal: Create engaging content and share it across mult...

2.5 times the detail

Image
Write about a bald pale man at the beach wearing nothing but blue swim trunks. Is he standing at the sea with his hands to hips admiring the incoming storm, or is it something else? If the painting had more details we could see the goosebumps from the mix of wind and adrenaline rolling in. The flashes of lighting became too much, day had slipped into the night only until the brightest flash brought the man back to his senses. He turned to run only for the rain to pass in front of his feet, filling up the holes in the ground widening the sea until it became inescapable. The pale bald man found himself swimming hard using both arms and feet just to stay afloat in the personal riptide. His muscles burned internally and the water stopped from above and filtered through the sand below turning it to muck that gave way and fell even farther below. - 158 words The air crackled with an energy that had nothing to do with the absent sun. A stark white figure stood silhouetted against the chu...
